Compressor $500 or less?

I need a compressor in the garage but only have $500 to spend. It needs to run air tools and an HVLP gun for painting the mustang. I have been looking at a Kobalt one from Lowes but wondering if there are better options.

I don't know if you have a Menards where you live but that's where I got mine, a 60 gallon Sanborn and I must say it's not let me down so far. I paid $400 for it.

Tractor Supply has a 60 gallon Porter-Cable on close-out for $399, if you're lucky enough to have a store close by that has one in stock.

I picked up a used Ingersol Rand 80 gallon 2 stage off Craigslist for about $500. I was told to get a 2 stage if possible so I went the used route so that I could afford it.

Compressor $500 or less?
