1970 vs 1971 rear frame

I would expect nothing to be the same. Longer wheel base in 71 - 73 and longer car.

The shock cross member on a '69-'70 is WAY stouter even in repop form... but the whole unit is a few inches narrower than the '71-'73 distance between frame rails.
Not sure that helps at all, but that's my experience with that end of the car (I just sectioned in the new pieces to replace the damaged pieces in the '71 and noted the differences)
