Having a below knee amputation back in 2010 took a while to adjust to. 9 years on and the nerve pain is still as raw as 2010. Winter makes those nerves more sensitive. Over the past 3 years my shoulder has become more painful. After further investigation with X-ray and MRI scan it transpires my tendons in the shoulder are all torn, the ball at the top of the arm is now oval instead of round and the cup in the shoulder that the ball fits into is ragged all around the edge. I am now on the list for surgery to replace the shoulder with a new metal one. Surgery should be in around 3 months. Hopefully i should have my heater/AC recommisioned by then along with the interior sprayed. Recovery should be 3 months but i will not have full range of movement.
