Hi all you experts out there -- I do not like my oval aftermarket air inlet filter etc.

I'd prefer the round one ....I'm not running dual quads just a single edelbrock 4v  500 CFM

waddya think?

I went with an Edelbrock. Same "design" as the K&N for a lot less money and it had a dropped base which I needed. I also wanted a plain look, no ribs, writing, etc.

I’m with Ed, I also like that style of air cleaner. I got mine off eBay pretty cheap.

An update on a old post - Just an FYI - The type with the filter in the lid is easily damage if your engine every backfires.  Will burn through.  Just make sure you take it off if you start messing with your timing or are having issues.
