Anyone running these on your car.

Thinking real hard about pulling the trigger on these.

And using their air gap dual plane.

Would love to talk to you if you are..

Thx

Don’t everyone jump in at once....

I can’t comment on the CHI heads but I love my AFD SP4V heads! Probably same ballpark for price. Just don’t buy them off Tim Barnett. He’s a dealer but is an absolute rip off scam artist.

You can’t hardly even get AFD heads right now I don’t think.

Hi, That intake may not be available. I checked into it last year and there was an issue with c.h.i

and the supplier of that particular intake. Hopefully that has been resolved. The 208s are great heads but the only other intake is their very tall single plane. They do make other heads that fit other intakes.

I talked I think Mark from Chi in Australia last night.

I emailed the sales email address and I be dang if he didn’t call me last night.

He acted like the intake was now available, and had two pair of bare heads in California that were available.

I’ll email them again for clarification.

While you are at it get some extra intake gaskets just to have them

good advice....

Thats actually one “CON” for them.

That and raised exhaust high port.

Not sure how that affects my headers and car fitment.

You are ok as far as headers go. 1 3/4 4v hookers etc.

That’s what I have actually.

Also, someone with email address “tappethead” at CHI just emailed me back!! Lmao

He said there are no 3v dual plane intakes right now in the US, but will be leaving AU In about 2weeks.

What cams specs are you running? What kind?

Compression ratio?

Any idea on HP/Torque?

Curious did you ever go with the CHI 3v intake ? My 1972 Mach 1 has a flat hood so I’m worried about fitment issues. There’s only 2 available intake manifolds for the 3v heads Single port high rise and dual plain that’s a lot shorter. Still this is a great set up only if it will fit in my 1972 mustang stock hood.

Thanks all
