Just wanted to post some pics of a 72 mustang 65d with a 302, my neighbor gave me. It looks to be in decent shape but i havent pored over it with a fine tooth comb. Let me know what you think I need .

I'm glad these wonderful forumz exist ...with the great peeps in here offering advice and experience.... and don't worry ...That'll buff out with a polishing kit and a rag, I'm sure ::thumb::

Well as usual I had type for 30 min. and the page locked up and lost it all, lol.

Welcome to the forum and was your neighbor Clint Eastwood?

Look for a link where I just took an entire mustang apart and put back together in 10 weeks that has sat for 37 years. I started in Feb. and it is in Mustang Owner's museum now.

Your car does not look like it has sat that long. Check out the brakes, wiring and clean clean clean. I would not put running water on it at all. Just feeds the rust like under the vinyl roof.

I'll have to search for the progress. Beautiful job on it btw.
