Welcome from Oklahoma. Keep picking away at it. That is how things get done. Chuck

Thanks guy I just got a new steering column out of a 73 the wiring was different so I swapped over all the wiring from my column and that seems to have fixed my problem the old column was all busted up and the car would shut off when you turned the when you turned the wheels I'll get that put in after I get my new clutch cable in from modern driveline

Yes 73 column is different. Quite a few things are different on the 73.

Welcome from Western Australia

Don't give up on your project  just persist and you'll get her done
congrats.....I'm sorry, and good luck to you all in one :) welcome to the pain and pleasure that is the 71-73 mustang. If you love her long enough she can be something special, so don't give up but it will be painful. The people here will be a huge help, especially, david, midlife and don take their advice.

Got the column and new clutch cable installed tonight having issues with it not starting without a jump even if I just shut it off gonna get a new battery and see if that's the issue the altenator is good the wiring on the other hand is kind of a mess but everything appears to be hooked up properly but I did get to take it down the driveway and back seems to shift good

thanks for all the nice feedback!

That looks awesome!  Mine has been apart so long It's nice to see one like this.  Get her running well, leave the body alone except for a "Night Fury" name painted on it somewhere!
