Just want to make sure...

Do you need the push button latch

Or the catch bar inside

I have either

You needed some other small part awhile ago , still need it

After seeing your extended tutorial on replacing the push button, I've realised there are two kinds of buttons on our cars.

My Grandé has a key slot on the button, transforming the glovebox into a vault (made of cardboard).

My spares push buttons are like the one you've installed. No key.
