At least the hard part is done, taking it apart. Putting it back together is a piece of cake. :whistling:
Pics from yard in Phoenix. Buddy of mine took a bunch of pics for me.

Pics from 1995....when I was motivated the first time around. Body work and paint intimidated me then.

Latest....got primer on it. Did an etch primer on parts and then 2 coats of 2k primer. Then filled and another 2 coats.  Ready for sanding but weather turned.  Will be infrequent opportunities now. A neighbor runs a body shop and is helping me with advice.

This is like de ja vu for me looking at your recent pics. Not very many Grabber Blue 71 convertibles out there. As my friend who painted it said: “you won’t lose this in a parking lot.”

More progress. Bought a panel tree and a door thing for a jack....but it doesn't fit either of my floor jacks. The neighbor helping me said if I really want the paint to look awesome then sand the clear coat and put two more coats on.

Wow that blue really pops!

Thx! Kinda hard to tell but got 3 more coats of clear over the blue. There is a flaw visible in first pic where I tried a repair in the color (and failed). Clear is "as sprayed".
