Sail panel

Recommended Posts

Stupid question but I know rear sail panels are supposed to go in before the back window. The material dont wrap around the pinch weld for the window does it? My old ones are pretty beat up and it’s hard to tell

Thanks for your help

Yes, the sail panel material does wrap around the pinch weld for the window. Sail panel installed first, then the rear window. If you already have the rear window installed, you can still install the sail panel afterwards. I had to do this on my red car. Just trim some of the excess material of the sail panel and use some adhesive and tuck it under the weatherstrip inside lip. Ryan
