Wow...such negativity towards my reply.

It is common sense to have to car sit on the ground when measuring ride height.

 
I don't blame midlife for his reaction - I have to admit I had a similar reaction to the original post. Who in their right mind would measure ride height while the car is on a jack or on jack stands?

I was curious about the YouTube page linked above, so I checked out a few of the videos. Some are are OK and have decent info, some are not all that useful IMO - I probably would not suggest those videos to a person new to working on cars.
