Somebody really wanted a modern retro Australian XBGT...or is that hints of an early 70's Charger?

I saw a forum thread on that car, the guy made all his own fiberglass molds and parts. It's unbelievable the amount of work that went into this car.

Interesting, and I agree that the work gone into it is phenomenal.

But, I think I would've just rather had the '84 Firebird, to be honest.

Not too crazy about the wheels and yellow pin stripe, but....

Side view kind of has a Ford Maverick meets Mustang II thing going on.

I see so many elements of Ford and Chrysler in it...

The side 'window/louver' shape is very much Falcon XB, as well as the layout of the tail panel and grille. The frontend does seem to have 69/70 Shelby Mustang hints.

The side profile really strikes me as the 73 Charger and it's similar taillights.

I think it would look better with wheels more like the 5 spoke Globes on the Falcon in the pic. Although, some 16" Magnums would go with it quite well.

Just $25k....I have to go check the couch cushions for more quarters...

I love the 3rd Gen Firebirds.  This would be the ultimate for me.  Again, not throwing rocks at the car in the original post, but if they guy wanted an Aussie Falcon, it might've been easier to start with an Aussie Falcon.
