72 vert 351 4-V

Recommended Posts

Killing time and found this down here in N.C. know nothing about the car just saw the ad. Found another but he was asking $35,000 for an incorrect car so did not bother linking. It was a 73 Q 4 speed non factory color car.

I do think we have member in that area. If this is a Q C=6 would be one of 330 and depending on mfg. date can be a Cobra Jet.

When a man is in the woods and talks and no women are there is he still wrong??:P

How about a warning before posting those kinds of pics. ;)  That's just painful to look at.   It's hard to believe that car rolled off brand new and in perfect condition from an assembly line.   Poor thing.

I'd give $1600 for that.  Given all the repop sheet metal and other parts available these days, I'd throw down a 'Day Two' restomod, then drive the wheels off it.  Don't know if I'd stick with the original color on that one, though... hafta see the Marti before that decision came about.

But of course, my limiting factor is having no place to park, let alone work on, yet another project car.  Bummer.

When I put the pics in I could not post the message so I took them out.

  • 1 month later...

I had a long talk with the seller. NOT an original 4V car. It was a H code. Heavy collision damage in the rear requiring pulling with a frame machine. Rust in cowl and rear floor. He sold the car to a longtime friend.
