Thanks.  It’s going to be a job.  I’ve done several cars over the years. I figure the guy tha took it apart did all the dirty work for me.

If you browse through some of the build threads you'll get a lot of inspiration. Some of the cars on the forum were truly brought back from more rust than solid metal.

73 Grande H Code. Headman long tube headers, T-5 Transmission, 3.70 Traclok, Lowered 1" all around, Aussie 2v heads w/ 2.19 intake, 1.71 exhaust, screw in studs, full roller cam 608/612 lift 280/281 duration LSA 112, Quick Fuel 750 CFM double pumper, AirGap intake.

Welcome to the group from North Carolina. I like buying them in the box you can see what you are getting. Never toss anything some parts are not available. Hey they saved you a weeks work tearing it down.

At least your "basket case" is not made out of all air. There is still a little bit of it left. 

 Huge kudos for you saving another one.. they are well worth it.
