1972 Mach1 not starting

Hi Guys

I have not fired up the old girl in a couple of months. Went to start and nothing happened. Batter well charged, no lights or buzzers working. The horn does. Tried to remote switch. This does fire up the starter motor. not sure why nothing else works.

I know it could be an earth lead issue. But would love to have your input.

Start by cleaning your connections to battery and grounds. For sure clean, clean, clean. If you have some electrical grease to coat the connections helps them last.

switch may had gone bad.. but if u have an extra hand.. turn to start and see if u have voltage at the front little connector on the start relay. if no.. check fuses. but at least u know the run part of the sw works that's why I leaning to bad switch in the starter side of sw.

The lubricant in the switches dries up and gets hard, which keeps the contacts from making contact, will be worse on cold days.
