I am working on cleaning up my engine bay (with engine in) and want to remove the fuel vapor canister for service.   I felt one 7/16 nut under it and removed it with a little contortion action but canister doe snot budge.  Looking at the shop manual it shows the canister but does not show how it is mounted.  Kind of hard to get a hand down there.

It has a strap around it that is held together by a bolt.  Should be able to feel it on the side.  Loosen and can slide it out.  The strap is held on by 2 bolts.

Got it but still could not get it out due to the ac expansion valve.   Took off the 2 remaining nuts from its bracket, took bracket out and then was able to squeeze the canister out.  Would have wanted the bracket out anyway to paint that as well.
