Anyone replace hood hinges with hood on car?

Anyone replace hood hinges with hood on like in this video?

Never have but after watching the video I would be willing to give it a go if I was to replace my hinges again.  The thing I like about it is the trick using the seat belt and the fact that one side of the hood is still aligned by the original hinge so you could get the first side that you replace really close and then do the opposite side.  Also less chance of damaging the hood during the removal and reinstalling it.  Just have to be careful that the hood stays put and you protect the paint as shown.
