I have a 73 Conv. with orig. Motorcraft 12127 D3ZF distributor. Do you know where I can find a rebuild kit? I have new points, cond. & rotor..

but it's gonna need springs and gasket etc.

Thanks

I doubt that you need anything. If the car starts the condenser is good. If the points are not burnt good. That is what made the old system so good only a couple of failure points. My 73 still has stock system.

Help! Not having any luck with my distributor... went to remove the vac advance and a chunk of metal came off with it!

I guess one of the ears that holds the vac adv to the dist. body had been broken a long time... thoughts on JB welding it

back in place? Does anyone here have a decent spare core Motorcraft D3 ZF 12127 CA? Fits H code 351C 2v auto trans.

Thanks! Doug in Indy

I probably do.  I have several I have pulled and stored.  Will be Sunday before I can check 2 of them, but one is at home where I can access it easily
