By recreating my convenience group and rear backlite wiring stuff I had my new voltage regulator in my hands which I bought 6 years ago. I have heard many stories about these concourse regulators which could fail easily because of their mechanical malfunction.
By the pictures, is this one of these which could fail easily? Is it a good or bad design? Should I better mount an electronic one instead and adapt the councourse cap on it? Or leave it as is? I don't want the battery to overload and splatter the fluid all around...
