Question

Could we have a gallery of pictures referencing what a factory fresh car should look like?

Loooking for detailed photos for engine compartment, rear end, interior, etc...

Maybe whenever members acquire them either by car show photos or webite we can post them so everyone can use them for reference when do their restorations?

I will post pictures of my 71 Mach 1 engine compartment, interior, trunk and undercarriage. I did my car to be exactly as it would have been when it left the assembly line. I even made sure that all of the bolts and fasteners were correct per the assembly manual as far as type and finish. The undercarriage was sprayed in the red oxide primer and then when I painted the engine compartment I over sprayed the primer as it would have been done on the assembly line. I can post some pics of the parts as they were restored before I put them on the car as well.

We should post them all in the concours gallery (as long as they are correct). I am sure we'll hear from someone if they are not.

Lots of knowledge on this site.
