Whats that plate under adjustment nut on rockers

What is it and why is it there?

A friend of mine is wondering, and he is missing a couple..

Oil deflector. Otherwise the oil would just shoot to the top of the valve cover.

He needs to replace the missing ones.

Without that part the rocker is not getting properly oiled.

The part could prove hard to find.
