Drag racing in December

Here are is a video of My 72 convertible at the track with my son in his 2001 gt and my brother brought his rice.

Last race in the video is the Corvette fresh from the showroom with only 800 miles. Before I get flamed, I will admit I beat him due to wheelspin.

Later the vette wanted a rematch, I told him sorry I have to go now.....

Very cool..Love going to the strip...Must be runing 8th mile there?

 

Got to love december drag racing thou...Motors just love that cold air...And if you got the jet cars there to warm up the track..Wow..Speed records get hit on days like that..lol

Carb was acting up, maybe time for a rebuild.

 

My buddy is down there for the vintage races and was gonna have him look you up

 

 

 

I was at Homestead, different track. Would have been cool though
