Tire sizes

Okay....BlackBetty needs some new feets. I've got 225/60's at the moment but with the car show coming up... I gots to buy new'ns.

So what do you guys run? I've seen some set ups I really like but cant see the tire size of course in pic's. I'm think'n 225/60's in front and the 235/50 is the same height as a 225/60 but has the width I want. Gotta order them quick... all of you chime in!! even with pic's so I can see what your babies look like.

245/60R14s front and rear on 8" wide rims

Thanks Don!! I should mention I have 15x8" Magnum 500's to mount the tires on.

275-60-15

235/60x15 front on 8" rims

275/60x15 back on 10" rims

the 275's on back fill up the rear wheel arch real good.

I have 245/60/15 on the front, and 275/60/15 on the rear of mine, on 15x8s. You can fit allot more rubber under your car if you want to.

I would go with 245/60s up front and 265/275/60 out back.No smaller than 235/60s up front.

That's exactly what I would recommend.

Don't go smaller than 245 with an 8 inch wide rim. It'll look skinny.

Here's a pic of mine with 255/60/15 on 15x7 rims on all 4 corners, before the lowering and 18inch rims:

X3 on the 245 / 275 combination. They make the car look muscular. If I stick with 15" rims it's the way I'm going.

By the way: There's plenty of room in the back. I got 285 now and room to spare.

room? i run a 17x11 with a 315-35-17 and i have plans to make room for a 345/40/17!!!!

now I can order my tires and have an idea if I'm going to get the "look" that I want.

Jeff mine is a 9.5 with a 5.5 back space with a 275/40/18 and a 10 would have fit no problem

MOTOARTS...... funny you mention them. I've never looked them up due to the fact they "appear" to cater to newer cars like Discount, NTB,Goodyear etc etc.

I looked them up just after posting... SURE ENOUGH...they had the 245 and the 275's and at good prices. I was SURPRISED!!!
