Went up on ebay today to check on current prices. WOW..... $119K on ebay.. Most of the Mach's where 15K and up for a driver. Things are going up, good for us if selling. When I bought mine 2yrs ago, there were lots to pick from in 5k-8k range. NOT NOW

Hopefully the after market will start producing more OEM parts such as structural steel and interior plastics

We seem to draw more interest as time goes but I dont know if the interest is strong enough to warrant production:( it would be nice though

Yep I agree... classics are moving back up
Wrong...I disagree..CERTAIN marques or models will always retain or increase in value..Overall the market sucks if your seller.. As I've said a bunch of times EBAY prices mean nothing..Since you have no way to CONFIRM that in fact the deal was consummated..Unless you call or email the owner and ask (Car shows as sold, buyer backs out) The time has never been better if your a buyer..Tons of great deals out there & more hitting the market every day.. Don't get caught up in the EBAY pipe dream of prices..Do your homework ..

This guys a believer!!!!

now I like the part where he basically says Eff you and God Bless rofl
Although the one listed for 35K sounds high, it would probably take that much to get the 4K one listed in that condition. I suspect 90% of us have more money into our 71-73s than we could get out of them, especially if we counted all those hundreds of fun hours working on them. I call ours the beast, the wife calls it the money pit, of course we're both correct.

"Will take $4500 for the car because of the shape of the car and the book on the car is like 30k with all its options"

SEE.... I told you prices were going up....this cat thinks this one will be worth 30k!!!!! just because a joke of a book says so...... :D

well the first one ...again PIPE DREAM

The second more in line with the real world Both more realistic though than EBAY..The real problem with ebay is that most of the people who list cars there are still living the "IT SOLD ON EBAY FOR DREAM" Their caught up in the hype from the early days on ebay when stuff did sell for crazy numbers..Different time back then..Not today's world..Well, good for Ebay since they bang you weather the deal goes through or not...

See..Look how many cars you posted today..If I was looking for a car I would be all over that !!! Looks perfect for a mach 1 clone...There are plenty of good deals in the 5 to 12 k range..& I predicted this a few months ago..So as I said it's a buyers market right now..Just need to chill..look around..& have patience...If your in a rush & want to over pay ..deal with shill bidding...fraud...then look on ebay..

LOL Q.... I use ebay to see what's out there IF I'm really interested I'll ask a few questions a place one bid at the low level to get the seller my contact info. Never bought any off ebay but got close once and i would have purchased because it was a good car and his price OFF ebay was at the good to great range. I went to see the car and it was a "buy"

But at the last minute it did sell.

Now that orange car is WORTHY

I bought my convertible off E BAY OZ

six cylinder T bat auto and zero rust

I paid $10k with a new roof

and it had already been converted

to right hand drive

using XB Falcon parts (Mad Max)

John in Brisbane Australia

One of my friends here on base (with a '72 'vert) is planning on picking up that car this Thursday for his son.

I could have gone all day without knowing that..... I've seen some beautiful classics ruined by kids. the percentage that dont are very low.

Yeah I know... its his money and he can spend it any way he chooses. If I gave my kid a classic it would be a non numbers matching "project". EVERY friend I have that gave their kid a classic said after the fact... "I thought they would be more responsible"

Not willing to let mine ruin a classic that has value.
