I have just finished comparing a NOS "Mustang" parking/emergency brake assembly I bought on Ebay to my original loose as a goose original realising what I got was actually a NOS Cougar assembly
So, I played around with mine for a while and solved my looseness by wedging an e-clip between thee body of the assembly and the pivot point to take up the slack. Worked really well in my case Anywho, I was looking around Ebay thinking there were no reproduction ones made anywhere but:

At the very least the picture looks accurate.......
