Can,t find any vendor who sells the ammeter terminal block that is mounted next to the voltage regulator.

They do offer a terminal block for the 67 -70.

Anyone know if the one from the older models will fit properly and if it looks the same?

Ordered mine last week from autopartstomorrow and it was bright yellow. Thought the original one would have been black. Dunno. Looks like it's going to work just fine though.

Can you paint it or something?

Dump it in a vat of ink?

Leave it in a glass of Coke overnight?

Black marker it out?

I'm thinking the same sort of things. Damn thing is shiny yellow plastic! Right part number, just fugly!

Given what I've read in your other posts, I don't think you'll be happy with the yellow eye sore under the hood. You could try Krylon fusion 1613 for plastic. Chuck

Chuck, you're absolutely right, not happy at all. I'll check out the fusion paint. I'm not familiar with it. Have you used it successfully before?

Scott

Scott, I've never used it on a car part but, I have used it with success on household items. I gave you the wrong product number before. Krylon Fusion # 2421, Satin Black. Chuck

Thanks again. I'm sure right now the other parts in my engine compartment are looking at that hideous yellow block and are plotting to toss it out. Kind of along the Toy Story line!

Yeah, you don't want to give Chevy guys a reason to point and laugh. Chuck
