15" or 14" Trim rings and Dishes?

Hey guys,

I have a question. I'm trying to sell my fathers 71 Mustang Original Dog Dishes ( stamped Ford Motor Company ), and trim rings.

He doesn't remember if they are 15" or 14". The OD of the trim rings are 15 1/4"

He had a 1971 Mustang, But it was a SPRING SPECIAL. It had

mach 1 stripes

hood scoops

grill

fog lights

coupe back window

automatic

I'm not sure if it would have had the 15" Mach 1 rims or the 14" ones.

Any help is appreciated.

The rings and dishes are original. 25k miles, no winters. Flawless condition, except one ring has 5" of slight curb rash, hardly though.

If the OD of the rings is 15.25" then they are for 14" rims. The rim size is measured at the bead seat of the tire.

They came in both sizes but the 15's are pretty rare
