Hopefully he can help you with parts shipments every now and then. Tough enough to find them here sometimes. You will probably need him to hunt them down and hang on to them until he's got enough of them that shipping cost makes sense in relation to the number of parts he's sending. I see a lot of restoration and less replacing in your future. Hopefully you have a shop set up to clean, sand blast, paint, etc. Good luck.

That is beautiful 1973 Mustang Convertible! I am glad your purchase turned out to be a good one. Lynda (wife) and I have several pony cars in out corral. Our 1973 Convertible is a fan favorite. It only has a little over 20,000 original miles on it, and is in excellent preserve condition (barn stored over 40 years). We enjoy all of our pony cars, but this one is quite special. It has a 302 2v engine with a C4 automatic transmission, so it is not a fast car. It also has Power Steering, and we added air conditioning. I replaced the mechanical fan and original radiator with a three row aluminum radiator with a matching fan shroud, and dual electric fans just because I could. It is a very nice cruising machine.

All of the Forel manuals are downloaded PDF files. The colorized Electrical Wiring Schematics manual is very nicely done. And in the Shop Manual, Volume 6 you will find a lot of engine emission control system information and engine vacuum schematics for a lot of engine calibrations. I found two additional schematics not included in the Volume 6 pages, and attached them to this post for you to download if you like.

Ha-ha-haaa)))!!!! It's impossible. Red Square saw auto last time at 30'th of 20 sentury)) Today it's walking place. But I will try for you. One of my friends working in Kremlin and I will ask him to help me.

I’ve seen Mustangs all over the world in my travels and it never ceases to amaze me where I find them.

As I said I have some experience of restoration. For example my Montego before and after my hands. It was russian barn find.

In Russia we have several clubs of american cars. Young guys like modern us cars (and we have a lot of modern Camaros, Mustangs and Challengers) but a lot of my friends like classic american cars and muscule cars. For example foto of my friend's car when I said for him I bought classic Mustang. He was first who saw my car. And another foto from our meeting.

Yes, of course! I agree with you and if you see my first post was about the car and my first request was no politics, only cars.
 
How's the rust in the car? Being from NH, thats up north east. Near the ocean, the snow, and all the salt they put on the roads.

Something looks a little off about the back quarter panel. Where there's supposed to be a side marker light, its all blue. Almost looks like they got a replacement piece of sheet metal welded in and didn't bother cutting out the rectangle to install a light.

Oh-oh-oh!! The first professional eye))) You are right. Rear quarters changed and there are no holes for rear side lights. It will bee the first task for body master .
The rust situation is not criticle but too serious. A lot of rust is near driver's seat and front left spar. Other body is not criticaly but it's a lot of small rust. I hope that we need only front sparbut the last word will my body master.
Anohter question is the roof. Seller promised new roof with the car but we got only rear plastic window and nothing else. The roof does not works now. I think to buy new roof and hydro opening system. As you can see without this system I can not drive the car. As you can see we have a lot of small and not so small problems with the car but the main thing is that car is lovely car ahd I hope all will be right!

Great cars unite people! It's normal. My friends bilding thear homes like in US, we like rockabily, we like to meet together with meat and beer. It's normal for all good guys)) What's wrong?)) We all are the same.

Hello. I am very glad to introduce to you my new toy. Yes, I live in Moscow but now it's time to talk about cars. Mustang 71-73 was my dream from childhood and now I am very happy. Now we are at begining of big restoration but I have restoration experience and there is no thing better to see the changes. I hope I will meet here new friends. Thank you adding me. Great vert you got and nice too see that there is also a nice little us car scene out there in Russia. Very cool cars you and your guys are having there! How easy or difficult is the situation about importing parts and cars? Are there any parts shops out there? Don't the Kreml have an suspiciously eye on your scene concerning US-affinity? How about other people?

Hope we could be of any help for you and you car, be sure there is some long experienced know how in this forum.
