Great job on the breather and rear brakes. Since my rear breather hose was only about 1 1/2 inches when I started working on mine, do you have a pic of where the hose leads to? Thanks.

Tom
Here is a pic of how I routed my breather, this is how the original hose was routed when I got my car, it looked right to me.

Over the weekend I seam sealed and painted the trunk and rear wheel wells and started to bleed the brake system only to find no fluid getting to drivers front wheel. I ruled out the proportioning valve being tripped because I was getting fluid to passenger front. I chased back to proportioning valve and had no fluid coming out there. I removed and disassembled and found that the valve (original) was full of crap and that port was clogged. Of course it is the only part that I was attempting to reuse in the whole system, will teach me not to try and cheap out. At least I made some progress on the body work.

It looks brand new on the outside but is straight junk on the inside

I'll have to decide if I want to rebuild it or just buy a new one. I would like to keep the original housing with the Ford numbers on it but I have never rebuilt one before and don't want my brakes to fail because I did it wrong. Besides my car is not a numbers match or meant to be concourse car anyway.

They are simple to rebuild. I've done about a half of dozen of various makes over the years and never had any issues. Just take your time and follow the instructions. Also, make sure the valve bore looks good and smooth. NPD carries them and has a good set of instructions online. Here's the info.

Thank you for the info! The instructions helped a lot

Todays projects are just trying to be ready whenever the engine comes back from dyno.

I painted the FMX today, I have been meaning to do this since is came back from the rebuilders and finally getting around to it.

Next is routing and securing the engine harness and installing wiper linkages.

The engine bay is ready for the engine to be installed. Of course that will have to wait until it is released from dyno jail, LOL. It doesn't look like it is getting out early for good behavior.

I routed the harness and installed the wiper linkages and a few other cowl parts and it is ready!

I got the fuel feed and return lines bent and installed. I am running a 3/8 feed and 3/8 return because I planning on running a Sniper EFI when I get the engine installed.

I am trying to make it as factory appearing as possible.

I originally bought this fathead type wall graphic in white when I was "sure" I was going to paint the car white when it was ready. Now I am leaning toward painting the car Grabber Blue so I ordered one in that color. Now I have them both on the wall over my tool box so I can torment myself and keep second guessing my decision if I am picking the right color. LOL
