My Car
Original owner of custom order 1973 convertible with the Q code. I still have the factory window sticker. She has competition suspension, deluxe interior with full gauges, ac, tilt, and forged aluminum slotted mag wheels. The hood is the original flat black dual scoop and a black trim along the bottom sides. All original.

Found the Marti report for my 73 Convertible. When my wife pulls it out, I will also post the original window sticker. I bought the car new in 73 and thought she might be special but not quite like this. Tell me what you think. I am currently looking for someone to repair the radiator.

The 351 and 3.25:1 rear axle ratio gear in the back make for a nice combination. We have a 3.5:1 TractionLok gear set in our 73 Mach 1's rear axle (originally 2.79:1). What a terrific bump in how responsive the car is! But, it also, of course, it increased our engine RPM at 60 MPH from just under 1,900 RPM to nearly 3,400 RPM. We ended up replacing the original C4 auto tranny with a 4 speed AOD the other year. Now we only turn just under 1,900 RPM at 60 MPH, making the Mustang still very spirited in performance, and comfortable at highway speeds - best of both worlds.

Nice to hear, I am in the middle of my resto and have just picked up my rear end and transmission from the shop. I am taking the 351C to SEFI and using an EEC-V from a 2003 Lincoln Town Car. It will run the 4R75E I found in a 2009 Police Interceptor Crown Vic and all of the fuel injection requirements. I also took my stock rear from 2.75 to 3.5 with a Duralock, really looking forward to getting the motor back from the shop so I can start peicing it together. Found lots of rust when I stripped her down so I am in no hurry for the engine.
