$75,000.00 for a One of NONE produced seems reasonable. Seriously, his level of ignorance is amazing. There were no 351C "Super Cobra Jets" made and no 351C cars were "Drag Packs".

Lol! Definitely dreaming. What @Horsin' Around said. But it's easier to lower the price than to raise it.

It's been repainted so you would have to see what was covered up, has the wrong front bumper, velour seat inserts, weird exhaust tips, and what's with the giant overflow/washer fluid reservoir?

I'm no expert but I don't see 75k there. Like Sheriff listed there are a lot of things wrong with that car that would need to be resolved. I wish that was the actual value of that car it would sure raise the values of our cars a lot!

This guys opinion costs about the $224 too much. If he missed all of that, he should hang it up.

The appraiser “states”... early on in his disclaimer, and then he “further stat” a little later on. Totally unprofessional on this whole thing from A-Z. I was under the impression Hemmings was a legit platform that vetted postings for sale..

Hemmings does not vet postings, as far as I know they never have, and I doubt they ever will. I don't think any of these companies do, if you claim to vet the ad, then you become liable for any discrepancies or fraud involved with the car. None of these companies want the liability involved. There really is no accurate way to vet a car that is unseen.

It popped up on my Hemmings feed again this morning and and I can say again is WOW... And the close ups do no justice. This a run of the mill 351C 4V that has seen its best days go by. Not that it can't be brought back to its former glory, it's just not worth anywhere near that price. I thought at first when I got my 18,000 mile survivor, I overpaid and probably did by 10%, but I'm so far ahead in the game being able to enjoy it right out of the starting gate. I love the fact the are so many passionate owners here that bring back these cars and take some pleasure in being part of that group. I have been there in restoration/preservation of my high mileage 88 Fox convertible so I'm no stranger to getting down n dirty :)

The text alone is a delightful read! :D

There is one poor bastard who saved for years for his dream mach 1, totally noob in the hobby and blinded by the freshly printed "official" papers that will buy it and will probably be proud of himself to have managed to get 10k off the asking price...

I am tempted to say that the prices paid by a few fools does not set a realistic benchmark. But that feels a bit harsh to say, so I won't. No need to mock anyone for mistakes they seem to have made. Well, maybe a little bit, but if doing so is going to crush anyone's spirit then shame on me. I do not want to be "the one" who makes a cutting remark needlessly.
