    73 - 4300D Gremlins....

Guys, Just digging up an old thread and thought I would share what I found. I have been chasing an intermitant issue with my Motorcraft 4300 (square bore) for a few months now. It would start up fine and run with no issues. Then I head out on the highway and after a number of K's down the road...

72 Mach 1 - Side stripe removal and replacement

At some point my July 72 Gold Glow Mach 1 received a doors closed blow over acrylic paint job. (fortunately the same colour as factory). The car is a California car that then spent time in Texas somewhere between the mid 80's and 2003. As such, most likely had seen a lot of sun. Naturally, the...

July 72 351C Plug wires - what are the correct type

Thanks for the update. I was looking at the Marti site and thought I would like a few of the parts he has like clamps, hoses etc. I have also seen their postage costs in the past just for a piece of paper and as I live in Australia the postage costs would be 10 times more expensive for me. So...

July 72 351C Plug wires - what are the correct type

Thanks for the info. I thought that was the case. The 70-71 plug set looks exactly the same with the only difference being the work Autolight on them compared to Motorcraft on the ones from Marti.

    Non-AC Heater Box Gaskets/Seals

I could not find any repro seal kits for the non AC heater box. I ended up driling out the rivets that hold the metal backing on, then replaced the core and made my own seals. I went to the local hardware store and bought some high density foam and made my own gaskets. Here is a link to a few...
