13 coins is always great. There's Claim Jumpers as well. I'm down with anything. This would be a nice way to end the cruising season. Here's to hoping for some Indian summer weather. This has been the best summer weather I can remember for a long time!
Just a reminder about the Mustang car show next weekend up at the Skagit Airport. There is a drive on Friday starting at the Mukilteo Ferry dock going to Bellingham via the Whidbey Island coastline and Chucanut drive. Should be a good time if the weather holds out!
Hope to see you there...
Welcome from Everett, WA.

Very similar to my to my engine build. The flat top pistons should get you there as far as compression goes. I would increase the cfm to a 750. I used a stock oil pump. I've been told the high volume units can empty the oil pan so quick as the pump can starve of oil and drop pressure just when...
I purchased a 26' Reinell Express Cruiser that had twin Iron Duke 2.5 liter mercruisers and one needed overhauled. I found a cracked cyl. due to the previous owner running it without a t-stat. He ran it hard then shut it off, fired it right back up and cracked the cyl. I pulled the engine and...

Yes it will be easier, see post #7 by our friendly tech advisor.
And, if indeed you did have a '73 manifold with EGR the adaptor WOULD work just fine. :-/...
I have a "Trans-Dapt 2199" square carb to motorcraft speadbore carb adapter. It worked surprisingly well. I used an edlebrock 750 on it and throttle response seemed vastly superior to the 4300. I just switched from the stock intake to the RPM-Air gap manifold and no longer have a use for it. It...
Thanks a lot! These are original FORD wheels that were optional in 1973. Since they were only offered in '73 they can be a little hard to find. I purchased these off ebay for under $200.00 + about 80.00 shipping from Illinois, I think. They came with faded center caps, and a few broken off...
They're B F Goodrich Radial T/A's. 215-60-14's on the front and 225-70-14's on the rear. The wheels are 14x6. Now to list the Magnums for sale...
Thanks for all the compliments everyone!!
Normal operation. When the oil warms up, it thins out. This is the cause of the decrease in oil pressure. I like 20w-50, but you'll see about the same results.
