I’ve never seen a Q code 71. I’ve heard that they exist but have never seen proof. If they did it was very late in the production run.
There were J code Grandes as well as C codes. 13 C code C6 we’re built. One was an SCJ, 12 were CJ. There were no Grande CJ or SCJ 4 speeds.
There was one J...
If there were any 1971 Q codes they were late in the year production. Most were M code in 71. My C code is not loaded. I’ll post Marti.
Here is the Marti on the El Paso car as well as mine and a blue one in California. This is 25% of the C code Grandes made. Mine is the one sold new in Austin TX.
No but I know that car. It is identical to mine but it has a white top where mine is brown.
I’ve got the Marti on that one. It was sold new in El Paso. That one belongs to a guy named Roman Ortiz. Where did you see it?
Unfortunately the guy was very close mouthed about the car but did acknowledge its existence and told me it’s pristine original. He wouldn’t even show me the Marti.
Hey all. I’m in search of a 72 R code Grande. There were only four and one is still with the original family so that leaves three out there!
Anyone ever seen one?
