73 Mach 1 part out or complete package

I apologize for my slow response on this.  For anyone that I've answered about parts, I still have them.  I've also had local people hitting me up, which has led to some of the delays.  People contacting me and setting up times to meet and never showing, and one person that when I didn't...

73 Mach 1 part out or complete package

Okay, I’ve responded to everyone via PM. If I had mentioned that I need to get rid of the body to make room, I’m planning on doing that next weekend. Thank you!

Sounds good.  I need to get rid of the main body before I have room to spread more stuff out.  When I can get to that, I'll take pics.

73 Mach 1 part out or complete package

Sorry, I typically work 10 hour days and have weekends off.  Worked a little extra this week.  I'll try to respond to everyone by tomorrow.  Had a few local people tire kicking and wanting to take everything for less than I'd get for taking the body to a recycling place and get the weight in scrap.

73 Mach 1 part out or complete package

Hello everyone. I've got a 73 Mach 1, which was a replacement for a different 73 Mach 1 that I had nearly finished but was totaled due to deer and a median.  First one was a normal Mach 1, current one is a Q-code. The body: I'm gonna say not much value here.  I started this project, and put in...

    73 Q-code, long term

I'm trying to stay focused, but that's hard when I have too many projects going on. I did a little more hammering tonight, and I'm making some very slow headway. This piece is almost to shape. One more day of hammering and fitting and hammering and fitting, etc. Hopefully one more day anyway.

    73 Q-code, long term

I've made a little bit of progress, but only minuscule amounts. Work keeps getting in the way. I'd be interested in seeing a picture of the radius turning tool if it's not a pain though. As for my patch, I'm actually getting it much smoother as I shape it a bit more. One side of the shock...

    73 Q-code, long term

I appreciate the responses. I can't really justify to myself spending $700 per side. I also realize I'm taking the cheap but hard way out here. As much as I can't wait to have this part done so I can start making fast progress in putting in the stamped sheet metal pieces I have, I'm seeing...

    73 Q-code, long term

Hello, I posted a month or two ago in the introductions forum about finally getting started, again, on my old Mach 1.  I was asked for pictures, and of course I've been slow to get anything done.  Always seems that life somehow gets in the way.  I have too many hobbies I think.  I've recently...

    Bojo's 73 Project

Just thought I'd pipe up. I'm just now restarting a project that has been a lifelong obsession that dwindled when I took a job travelling and quickly lost track of time for 12 years. I'm in a better place to be able to do a proper restoration now anyway. I'm doing a 73 Q-code, and I...

    Starting work again

I'll work on the pics. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like much at the moment. It's almost down to just being a shell. At this point, I've made and installed my own subframe connectors along with new floorpans. While doing that, I removed the cross brace that goes over the transmission and...

    Starting work again

Hello.  I joined a while ago, and have been trying to find the time and motivation to once again start work on a 73 Mach 1 I've had for a while.  It seems every time I would get started, I'd immediately have to start travelling again for my last job.  Well, I've finally switched careers to a job...

    My 73 Mach 1 build

Hello everyone. I've slowly gotten started on my project, finally. In between work travel trips, I've managed to finally get the T-56 support made. I had started this project over 10 years ago before there were any kits to fit this in the body, so I had to keep going with what I started. I...

Edelbrock performer vs RPM air gap

Just curious as to why it's a no-go with a functional ram air setup. Is there something about the cooling with fresh outside air that makes it not work, or is it simply the spacing, or height of the carb is off? Just curious. I have all the stuff from the hood for functional ram air, but I...
