Hi all..just joined today!
Be sure to check out my post on the Sportster concept I am attempting to build. Kinda been a dream for awhile, and still in the art and planning stage until time and family permits finding a car. If all goes well, that will most likeley happen next summer........

Best to you all brothers!

I just found this site while reading on 460Ford forum, and thought I'd check it out. I have a 73 sports roof with a 4V cleveland. It's pretty tired now and has been built several times, so I am in the process of building a stroker big block with Kaase P51 heads. Heres a pic of it in its current configuration.

I''v had the 72 Mach since 1981. It's covertly modified for spirited driving on road courses. I picked up the one of fifty sprint convertibles about 7 years ago. It is all stock and 90% original. I've done more parades than I can count. I've had the 2004 Mach1 two years and I love it.

Hello All,

Barry aka Rocketfoot suggested that I join this site and I am glad that I did. the 71-73 mustang are the redheaded step children of the mustang world but not here.

I have a 73 convertible with a 351C that has been stroked to 408. The engine was built by MME Racing.

don't own any mustangs, but I'm a friend of RocketFoot's and will help him manage the forums.

I have owned some older cars in the past. I'll have to get some photos up of them.

Cool

My first car was a 73 Mach 1 and really missed it over the years. After an unsuccessful search to buy it back, I found a fantastic 72 Q-Code that is in need of a complete restoration. I have it stripped down and it is ready for blasting/dipping. I hope to have it on the road soon.

I also drive a 2007 Mustang GT
My better half drives a 2004 Mustang GT

Hallo everyone and greetings from the land of the midnight sun.

It's nice to now that there is a page for these "forgotten" Mustangs.

There are a few 1971-1973 Mustangs here on Iceland of all kindes from ht to conv.

I bought my car in 1987, a 1971 Mach-1 429SCJ with drag pack.
The car has never been restored and has only 45.000 miles on it and it's number match.

More later.

Hello from Phoenix Arizona 1972 Mach 1

Just wanted to introduce myself. Some members here may know me, I was referred by OLE PONY. Nice to see more 71-73 Mustang sites coming online! Hopefully this will get reproduction parts growing more. I sure could use some interior pieces! Big Grin

Anyway I have a 72 Mach 1, still needs some work but runs really good for a car with 96k miles on it. I want to get to the restoration but frankly I cant afford it right now, and besides, once its restored its hard to enjoy it more. Right now I don't care if it gets rock chips, but its still presentable.

Hope this site does well! Its definitely a lot of work I know that for sure! Tongue

Great to be here. I have two 73's. I bought my fastback 18 yr's ago and my mach 1 2 yr's ago both are H codes. Just did an engine swap and trans rebuild on the mach. Still have a few lose ends.
