  T-Shirt Poll
Posted by: rocketfoot - 05-28-2011, 06:33 AM - Forum: Site News - Replies (37)

Just curious if anyone is interested in an official 7173Mustangs.com t-shirt pre-sale? The shirts would be custom designed by a professional artist and printed by a top shelf company on high quality shirt! The back will be full color with fast back and convertible Mustang design. The front will have the forum logo on the left breast. Color will probably be white or heather gray. Please post if you have a color preference... The bad thing is that we won't see the design until the order is placed but I can assure you that it will be awesome! I have worked with this company for many years at my job. They do excellent work! We will be able to tweak the design to perfection after the order is placed. You will get to see the design before the production run.

Quick number crunching looks like the final price would be $30 shipped anywhere in the continental USA. (Sorry, our International friends will have to pay around $40 per shirt.) I know that seems high, but these are quality shirts with 3 color custom artwork. Still cheaper than a NASCAR shirt! LOL! Limited production of 72 shirts! I'll need about 50 pre-sales to place the order. Any profit left over will go to forum costs. Sizes S, M, L, XL, 2X & 3X

So what do you think? Hit the poll so I can have an idea if this will work. I don't have the extra money laying around to risk a flopper. Cool

I can't show you a design yet but here is the website with lots of examples of their work! http://www.exceltees.com/excel-sportswear-designs.php

Good Day All!

The winner will be declared on Monday as is the normal process.

Gettin' close to a couple of milestones
Posted by: 73vertproject - 04-13-2011, 07:24 AM - Forum: Site News - Replies (28)

We've got 488 members now and should hit 500 very soon. Should also hit the 20,000 thread mark about the same time. Barry (Rocketfoot), any plans for a party? If anyone wants to head over to the VIP Lounge on the day we make 500/20k, I'll buy the first round.

Congratulations to ALL of you members and guests who have had a part in creating what I believe to be the best website on the internet. The friendship, knowledge, and mutual respect that I find here is unparalleled, in my opinion. It's really a pleasure to be here.

  Spell Checker for IE Users
Posted by: rocketfoot - 04-01-2011, 06:30 AM - Forum: Site News - Replies (2)

Had a few questions about spell checker so I thought I would address them in one post. For those of you that use Firefox or several of the other modern browsers, spell check is done inline on the fly as you type your post. If you use one of these browsers, you don't need to read this thread any further!

Now, for those that still use Internet Explorer...I have added a button to check spelling when posting. You have to type your post and then click the button above that looks like this: [Image: spellCheck.gif]

This will open a new window and allow you to correct spelling mistakes. IE just won't do inline spell check like Firefox will. If you want that, you'll have to switch to Firefox!

If you still insist on using IE, you can also download this addon that will add a similar spell check to your browser:

This addon will allow you to run the spell checker on any thing you type in on IE. You activate it from the right click menu, IE Tools menu or you can add a button to your tool bar from the tool bar customize menu!

Hope this helps but again...I highly recommend switching to FireFox in order to use this site the way it was designed!

Hey guys! Please welcome American Muscle to our small group of valued advertisers!

American Muscle offers mostly aftermarket parts for late model Mustangs (79 to current) as well as some really cool Mustang novelties, collectibles and apparel!

They don't specialize in 71-73 parts, but I was able to get them a nice ad spot on the Portal Home Page! So please, pop over to the home page and click on their ad button! Show them some good old fashioned 7173Mustang.com support! Big Grin
