My Car
Blue mustang in process of being restored.
I am installing a Dynacorn full trunk floor with transition pan that goes behind the back seat. I have a measurement issue of 1/4 inch and would like some advice from those of you who have done this work on your mustangs. See photo's. I will check the pan for square tomorrow with a level to see if it is the issue.

Thanks,
Jerry

I tried another method to check the measurement and all is good. I used an angle iron clamped to the torque box lip and made sure is was level up and down. Measured from the end of the trunk panel to the angle iron and both sides were the same. Now I will move forward with getting it prepped for welding.

Adding more photo's. New floor requires a little bit of modification in the rear side panels. Trunk and floor will be ready for welding very soon. Added tail light panel for a test fit and it looks good. New wheel wells will be installed in the next few weeks followed by new rear quarter panels. I am slow but steady on the project.

Thank you all for the support.

That picture of corner where back of wheel well meets the trunk explains why I had to "stretch" my wheel well corner to fit my new trunk. Would like to have noticed that earlier..nice looking work. I put my floor in same way.
