I just saw this on Craigslist and almost had a heart attack. This classic car dealer is asking $80,000 for a 1990 LX 5.0 Mustang 5 speed coupe. It has only one thing going for it, and that is that they claim it has less than 2,000 miles. There is say that they have any paperwork to back up that claim, all they say is that they have the day one paperwork, which really means nothing. If this car was still in the factory wrapper and had never been titled with a couple of hundred miles, I still don't think it would be worth anywhere near 80K.

Very nice car! definitely looking for "that guy." Mine would be a perfect 71 Torino GT, loaded 429SCJ dark green with yellow laser stripe.

There's an azz for every seat, and someone with deep pockets and nostalgia will make an offer they'll accept. Considering the condition of that car, I'd believe the 2000 mile claim. Finding an unmolested 5.0L Fox Mustang is nearly impossible.

I had 2 LX V8 HO 5.0 t-birds (91 and 93 ) and looking at this mustang reminds me these babies.. so much similarities. Miss them, great cars.
But not for their terrible front brakes! Were the Mustangs 5.0 also having the same brakes?
