My Car
73 Grande will undergo three phase build process. Phase 1 is complete (driver). Phase 2 is interior/exterior restoration. Phase 3 is ++ performance.
The pic is the drivers side spindle. I didn’t mark the splash shields from side to side and the exploded view in the Ford shop manual isn’t illustrative enough to know this is right. What say the experts?

Say it isn’t so Mike. Well, I loosely mounted the drivers-side spindle on the two ball joints, and tried both shields, all the 4 possible ways it could mount, and after seeing there was only ONE way it could mount, based on the bolt holes locations not being 120 degrees apart (with the rotor also loosely mounted), it became obvious. So, trial, error, error . . . got it!
