My Car
1973 red convertible 351 4 V
I bought a house in SC. I am very close to NC. I can walk across the state line in my neiboirhood. I am about 45 minute from Charlotte. The house is in Lancaster county SC. I sold my house in Michigan in a week. I had 4 offers. It was crazy. I moving at the end of the month. Goodbye crappy roads, expensive gas, high taxes and bad weather. Looking forward to driving the car year-round.

I lived in Michigan for 3 years, and I know how happy you are to get out of there. I lived in South Florida for 22 years and have lived in East Texas for the last 2 years. No plans to ever move again, I will be buried here in Texas!

"Goodbye crappy roads, expensive gas"
I saw on Discovery a while back a reportage, about roads in Missouri I think it was (not sure, but it was a south state), where local people developed a new art form as a protest for the lack of maintenance. They were decorating the many deep holes in the roads. creating miniature sceneries into them!

As about expensive gas price... well enjoy! With the dollar levelling to euro, we're now over $10 a gallon here for 98 :O

Ouch!

Lancaster is a nice area. I have a friend there and he loves it. Welcome to the south!

John, congrats on the move. I take it I won't see you at the Mustang Memories car show in Dearborn, Aug 21st.
We just got back from a trip to Hendersonville NC to see one of my old buddy's from the UK. What beautiful countryside. Unbelievable scenery.
On the trip back, we sure knew when we crossed the Ohio/Michigan border on I 75. What a disgrace!

Are you hoping to do the MM show? I'm on the fence at the moment to be honest, I'm getting tired of the "car show" scene.
Not really sure if I am going. Actually I haven’t really thought about it. Haven’t been doing much car show stuff. Just been enjoying cruising around a little. Gas is reducing my cruising around this year. I’ll have to check when it is. Right now I’m in the middle of having my house re-sided, so I have been staying close to home.

I'll PM you.
