I'm the guy that parks his car and is seldom around it...

Sure is more fun having another person with you when displaying car. Nice to see other cars and not worry quite as much.

I am also normally not around my car................but you never know............. I was at the 2009 Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance with my 1968 AMX and was not feeling very well so I just sat down in a chair near my car instead of wandering around (I did wander later). The lady next to me with a Studebaker said "are you going to see Jay Leno"? He was the special guest host and was seen here and there during the day. I jokingly said "if Jay wants to see me I will be right here". About 1 1/2 hours later up drive 3 golf carts. Out of one comes Jay and his assistants, the other a film crew and the third security and all followed by a crowd of spectators. They proceed to slap a mic on me, the film crew sets up and Jay then does an interview with me about my car for a piece that would end up on his web site: Jay Leno's Garage. I learned later that he had selected 9 cars to do this with, mine was the only muscle car to get his attention. My wife and her friend were wandering so I had no one to take pictures while this was happening as it was totally unexpected. First picture was captured from the video on Leno's web site. The second is a still one of his crew took with my camera. Later my wife sent him the picture and asked him to sign it, he did so and sent it back.
