Does anyone have a recommendation on where to get replacement cylinder head locator dowels?

I've pulled the heads on my 351c and there's one missing. And that my friends, is the end of my Labor Day plans to cruise.

Thanks in advance!

Hello knn,
Depending on how your local parts stores observe Labor Day, you may be able to source one tomorrow.
The 240, 300, (6 cyl used in the full-size Ford car through ‘72 & truck through ‘96) 221, 260, 289, 302, 351W, C, M, and 400 all used the same cylinder head dowel pin. Ford P/N is C2OZ-6A008-A. With that many applications, there is a good chance one of your Ford friends might even have some lying around in some miscellaneous hardware collections in their shop. :)

Here is a photo of a used one I have. It measures 0.247 OD x 0.455 long. A 1/4" x 1/2" steel dowel pin should work. Might have to shorten it a bit, perhaps emery cloth the diameter down a bit.
