1973 Mustang Sportback
Hi everyone,

I'm trying to locate a 1973 front bumper as my car didn't come with one. I'd even be open if anyone knows where I could locate a fiberglass version.

I have one that is not perfect. Needs some repair. It is free if you feel like driving to St. Louis.

I also have two available. They are listed on the Detroit Craigslist if you care to look it up for the pictures and descriptions.......If you need the energy mounting arms, I do not have those, however.

I will get pics, but honestly, it is not worth what the shipping would be. These bumpers are HEAVY, like 60 lbs or so. It would have to go freight.

If you have a heavy-ish foot, it's about 3.5 hours from downtown Indy to downtown St. Louis. If it happens on a Friday (I get off before noon and work downtown), I could even meet you over around Scott AFB, about half an hour east on 64.

Pics tomorrow.

Pics...like I said, not worth shipping, or even paying for it, but if you don't have one at all...

Thanks for taking the time to send the photos. I might just build a sheet metal version since this rig is intended to be mostly a road racer that can have street manners.

In that case, forget a stock bumper. That much weight all the way out front would create some interesting dynamics when trying to change direction when roadracing!
