Getting ready to finally install the headliner for the 71. Does someone know:

1) What Bow colors go where (starting from front)?
2) What hole positions (in the side rails) were used from the factory?

Thanks,

I pulled out my existing headliner yesterday and it looks like different holes were used on each bow probably to get the wrinkles out of the headliner so I’m guessing each installation is different.

With all the 71-73’s in the Detroit area I think we need to have a meet up!

They are all different lengths. If you stand them all together on end, they run from front to rear. I don't remember if the longer ones are in the front or rear, but that should be easy enough to figure out. I had no idea what hole each came out of, so I just started by putting them in the middle holes. I found I had enough room to switch them all to the upper holes, and the headliner tightened up and fit perfectly.

Good luck with your headliner.

That's a great idea once the weather lightens up a bit. I live in Northville area, so, pretty central to all. Maybe a "cars and coffee" weekend once the season gets going?

Sounds good to me as I’m about 25 minutes away up in Milford.

Was able to get the headliner and many upper interior pieces back in today. Tackling the rear inner quarters and fold down seat panels in the next couple days.

Send me some pics when you do the rear inner quarters and the seat panels...I'm at the same spot with my interior install. You can PM me or attach here...
