Trap door pics

I have a 73 Mach 1 with the fold down rear seat I'm working on. The trap door is functional but needs some work and adjustment. Can someone post some pics of the trap doors original finish and the sides where the latches clip in to? Looking for pics from trunk side and back seat. Was there originally any type of seal around the door?

I have the same request as 73Mach1VA. One of my pins was was missing from the right latch and I made a replacement with 3/8” rod thanks to another post on this site. My interior was redone by the previous owner and I’ve noticed that the black plastic molding wraps over the trapdoor gram on the left and wrap’s behind the frame on the rights. Photos of the trap doors would help me correct it. Thanks for the post 73Mach1VA!

Just north of you in Culpeper. I have the same plan. I want to have a reliable driver.

I’ve got the assembly manual for the 73 model. Do you think pics from it might help? If I knew exactly what you needed, I can post them. I don’t have a Mack 1, so I’m not sure what you’re asking. Steve

If I remember correctly, the replacement latch pins were made from 3/16 inch SS rod.
