My Car
72 Q-code Vert
72 L-code Vert
I need to replace hoses on both of my verts.
The Q code has the cooler, the L does not.
I can't figure out where to order from.
There's 4 different hoses in total, right?

PS hoses are available on Rock Auto.com, NPD and many others. The problem is getting quality hoses. I just had the pressure hose literally blow off the fitting at the pump and that hose has been on my car for probably 8-10 years.
Tomorrow, I'm going to a local hydraulic hose company to see if I can get it repaired.

On the pressure hoses, is the 30" the shorter one for not doing the loop up on the brace? And that would be the 70" one?

Well, today I took my blown long pressure hose to the local hydraulic shop and they couldn't fix it, they didn't have the correct end fitting. It's a small shop, so probably why. The Gates 353570 long hose seems to be unobtainium, no-one has it in stock in Canada, or for that matter, the 353580 short pressure hose. The Gates website is no help unless you have an account it seems.
In the meantime, I ordered one from an auto parts store and I'll have it tomorrow. This is one that is shown on RockAuto, but I thinks it's a generic picture, so I'll see if it will work for the time being, a temporary fix just to get the car out and running. The Edlemann hose is available, but the prices vary wildly. Ordering online takes too much time for me at the moment.
I'll report later on what I find out on the one I ordered.
I'm also changing my PS pump. I have a small leak on the main shaft seal and besides, I'm kind of wondering if the relief valve failed and caused the hose to blow out as I turn sharply into a parking spot.

If push comes to shove, Rock Auto shows one remaining in stock $33.79 (US).

Thanks Chuck, I have seen that one.
So, why do we have such a problem getting correct hoses?
I'd still like to see if I can get the hose I have repaired. NAPPA also do hydraulic hoses, but my local NAPPA store guy knows nothing about it, so maybe a separate business for NAPPA. I'm not finding any locations in Ontario for this anyway.

Be careful with the Chineseum hoses. I bought the concourse hoses from NPD. They fit perfectly and I had no issues.... until one day the hose came off the crimp sleeve at the steering box. Thankfully I was only moving my car, instead of being on the road with hot headers. Otherwise it would've been much worse. I took them to a hydraulic hose shop and had them replace the hoses and crimp sleeves. Just holding the rebuilt hoses, you can tell the difference in quality.

NPD is now carrying a concourse reproduction of the pre-5/1/72 long pressure hose with correct bends in the steering box end.

That's the one I have that blew off at the pump fitting. It did last about 10 years though, but put me on the back of a flatbed tow truck.
I'll expand on my problems a bit later in another post.
