I have posted this once before...If you want that Factory Aluminum RIm look, but you hate being limited to a 6" x 14" factory rim size, then consider this option.
I have an old set of 70s-era Ansen Sprint rims and lugnuts with no Ansen center caps. So one day I decided to try an experiment. I took one of the old Ansen Sprints and polished it up a little (it really needs more polishing) and painted the black pinstripe ring around the inner ring near the slots. I then took an extra Ford Factory '73 aluminum wheel center cap and it just fit like a glove around those Ansen lugnuts.... and you can hardly tell the difference! Just an idea for those who are not factory purists, but like the factory look. I wonder if Ford had Ansen make the factory wheel for them? Any thoughts/comments?

The center caps srew holes need to be drilled and tapped. The black pinstripe ring was the hardest thing to get right...for me it was anyway.

Nice to have this slotted wheel size option. How did you apply the black stripe so precise?

I use thin 3/16" wide pinstripe tape because it is pliable and can easily be shaped around the curve of the rim's inner edge to create the inner edge of the pinstripe. By using the inner edge of the rim as a guide around the wheel. I then laid down another row of pinstripe tape edge to edge with the first row. Then I laid down a third-row edge to the edge with the second row. I then peeled off the second row creating a nice even gap between rows one and three and painted the gap to create the pinstripe. Peel off rows 1 and 3 pinstripe tape...done.

I should have taken a few pictures of the steps.
