Hello, I have my front end on my '71 torn down, cleaned, and painted ready to install the SOT coilover front suspension.
While reading through the instructions I noticed that it requires the factory export braces to give the nuts something to pull against on top of the shock towers. I'm pretty sure i don't have these any longer, removed them back in the 90's when I was always wrenching on the car. I'm about to go look through the barn to see if I can find them, but in the mean time have placed a wanted ad in the classifieds for a set.
If I am unable to locate a set, can I just fabricate a plate for that area? Has anyone else run into this issue before?
