Hi. Welcome to the site! The Small block mount is different from the 385 series big block. Small block mounts from ‘64 on up will work fine. Before ‘64 the 260 and (then brand new 289) had offset bosses and used a different mount Altogether.

Ok! I actually used everyones tips. Torch…tighten first..knock the rust off with the impact wrench then tighten-loosen until they all came off. Thanks.

The front of my 71 Mach was pretty noisy, so I rebuilt everything on the front suspension...EXCEPT the springs. They looked to be in good shape, so I just replaced the insulators and the perches with a pair from Scott Drake. It's better. no rattle, but still gives me the "boing!". Will bad...

Hi everyone. I’ve rebuilt the front suspension on the ‘71 but the adjuster sleeves are so seized I can’t set initial toe in/out. The clamps are loose. I Soaked the sleeves in penetrant for 3 days and even tried map gas. They will not budge! Any suggestions? 

Back in the states. Took her out today. The learn function is a good start but there’s a lot of fine tuning options too.
